get the game
CD Classic is a fan-run server. we don’t distribute the game: you use your own copy of the original PC client, and our launcher connects it to our servers.
1. get the original client
Steam: if Creative Destruction is still in your Steam library, install it from there (Library → search “Creative Destruction” → Install).
your old install: still have the game on your PC? that works as is. the launcher finds it.
a standalone installer: the original 2020 PC installer is still listed on some download sites. we don’t host it and we don’t link to mirrors. before running any installer, check its SHA-256 against the table below. if it doesn’t match, don’t run it.

we never host, mirror or link game files. if someone posts a “CD Classic game download” anywhere, it isn’t from us. don’t run it.
2. get our launcher
download the installer only from this page — never from a chat, a repost or another site.

CDClassic Setup
Official installer. Closed alpha — you still need an open wave token to play. Download only from cdclassic.app.

3. sign in and play
sign in on your account page with Discord or Google. when your test wave opens, get your game token there and paste it into the launcher, then hit play.
what the launcher does
it points your own client at our servers, keeps a backup so you can restore, and never runs as administrator or installs drivers. stuck? ask in Discord #support.
