terms of use

1. the fan project

Creative Destruction: Classic is an independent, non-commercial fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by NetEase. Creative Destruction and all game assets © NetEase.

The project is free today. We do not sell items, currency, accounts or access, and we accept no payments.

We do not host or distribute NetEase game files. You play with your own copy of the game, and you are responsible for having it.

2. who can play

You must be at least 13 years old, or older if your country, Discord or Google requires it. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.

Testing is invite-only and happens in waves. We can withdraw an invitation at any time.

3. your account

• One account per person. Sign in with Discord or Google and keep that account secure.
• Your game token is personal. Do not share, sell or trade your token or your account.
• If you think someone else has seen your token, sign in again: you get a new token and the old one stops working.
• You are responsible for what happens on your account.
• Staff never ask for your password or token.

4. what you may do

While these terms apply, we give you a personal, free, revocable permission to:

• use our launcher, servers and website to play for your own enjoyment;
• stream or record your matches, as long as you do not suggest you are official or sell access.

You may not:

• copy, resell or rehost our launcher, servers, website or anyone’s accounts;
• reverse-engineer our launcher or servers to cheat or attack them;
• use the project to make money from NetEase’s game.

5. in-game items and currency

Diamonds, coins, coupons, cosmetics, season pass rewards and other in-game items have no real-world value. They cannot be bought, sold, traded for money or cashed out. They are a limited permission to use content in the game, not property.

We may adjust, rebalance or remove them, for example to fix a bug, undo an exploit or after a reset. Anything gained through a bug or exploit can be removed.

6. fair play and conduct

Follow the rules. In particular, do not:

• cheat: aimbots, wallhacks, speed or teleport hacks, modified clients or files, macros that aim or shoot for you, or packet tampering;
• use bugs on purpose;
• team up in solo modes;
• attack, overload, probe or try to break into our servers, launcher or website;
• harass, threaten or dox anyone, or post hate speech;
• pretend to be staff or the project.

7. things you share

This covers profile photos, album pictures, comments, names, chat messages and reports. You keep any rights you have in what you share. You let us store it, show it to other players and moderate it, for as long as it is on the service.

Only share what you have the right to share. Do not share anything illegal, sexual, hateful, violent, private or someone else’s personal data. We can remove anything, and act on the account that posted it.

8. reports, enforcement and appeals

Our servers check matches for cheating, and staff review player reports, flags and match recordings. If you break these terms, we can:

• warn you;
• remove content or items;
• mute you;
• suspend or ban your account.

A cheating ban applies in every region and to the Discord or Google account linked to it. Making a new account to avoid a ban is not allowed.

If you think we got it wrong, you can appeal through Discord #support or support@cdclassic.app. A person reviews every appeal.

9. test builds and availability

This is a test. We can reset, change or shut down matches, servers, accounts and progress at any time, with or without notice.

The game, launcher and website are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

10. liability

The project is free and run by volunteers. To the extent the law allows, the project and its team are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for lost data, progress or items, arising from using the project.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

11. ending your account

You can stop playing and ask us to delete your account at any time; the privacy notice explains how.

We can end your access if you break these terms, or if the project stops. If the project stops, these sections keep applying: in-game items (5), liability (10) and rights holders (12).

12. rights holders and takedown notices

We respect intellectual property. If you represent NetEase or another rights holder and have a concern about this project, email legal@cdclassic.app. Please include:

• what the concern is about;
• where it appears;
• how we can reach you.

We respond promptly and act in good faith, including removing material where appropriate.

13. changes and contact

We may update these terms. When we do, the date on this page changes, and we announce important changes in Discord or the launcher. If you keep playing after a change, you accept the new terms.
